The Power Life course gave me a new perspective. It changed my inner workings. All my life I’ve been concerned with always doing “what’s right”. Growing up in a (certain religion) you’re “expected” to be a certain person. That just never jived with me. “It’s down-to-earth, to the point and often very funny. Each of these can be pretty rare in the holier-than-thou world of personal development. Put ‘em together and you’ve got dynamite.
It helps the reader (or listener, the choice is yours, which is refreshing!) to cement change into their lives as a simple, ongoing process, based on simple principles. Goodbye “post-seminar slumps” and hello constant, simple, sustainable change… Yes, the very thing I bash on about… again and again.
The points may be simple, but they’re profound, and very clearly the distillation of a lifetime of experience, rather than something a guru who has thrown something together to make a bit of cash. (Actually, just what a lifetime is a pretty good talking point in itself…How many people do you know who’ve made serious suicide attempts and then gone on to “make it” on all fronts during the rest of their lives? The author of these principles, Mike Kemski, truly has. )
The Power Life Success system uses many people’s sense of negativity and pessimism, and turns it into an advantage, and a starting point. instead of trying to “magic it all away”.
Newcomers will love the fact that they can apply simple, profound principles immediately and get results. And I defy anyone, whatever their expertise in personal development or the number of diplomas they hold, not to be impressed by Kemski’s lucid explanation of exactly why people resist change, and what they can do about it.
But I saved the best bit til last. This actually worked, for me in practice. Having gone just the other day from feeling jaded and a bit battered, I have one project completed that I’ve been putting off for weeks, and (after weeks of perfectionist procrastination) a firm opening date and time for the download section of the site.
